Challenging Behavior Special Interest Group
Welcome!
Membership
Description of Membership:
The Challenging Behavior Special Interest Group will consist of three classes of members: voting, student, and affiliate. The CBX SIG Council may establish categories in each class. Members of all classes are entitled to the rights and privileges as they correspond to their membership category. A voting member will have the minimum of a master’s degree in behavior analysis or a related discipline. The voting member will also demonstrate competence in either experimental or applied behavior analysis (as determined by the full membership criterion established by ABAI). All voting members of the CBX SIG must also hold voting status (maintain full membership) of ABAI. Student and affiliate members will have such privileges as granted by the CBX SIG Council. Applications for student status must be accompanied by proof of full-time enrollment in an academic, internship, or residency program. Interested parties can become a member or renew membership by completing a membership application. Membership applications are available year-round by emailing challengingbehaviorsig@gmail.com.
